Why do the first two replies to How do I normalize (e.g. strip) diacritical märks from a Unicode string? show up as authored by QandAEditors, although their original authors seem to be brycen and moritz (according to the Recently Active Threads view)?  Or, if the question was meant for the Q&A section, why does it appear in Seekers of Perl Wisdom?

    In a bout of overeagerness, I moved the from QandA node into SoPW, but there is no one-click reversal. So until I've tranplanted the node back, it appears as Seekers of Perl Wisdom node.

    Update: Should be fixed now. For further reference, this is the code I ran to move the node back:

      Thank you for moving it back, Corion. I have done some janitation of the answers to clean up this CatQA.

      But note that there is a bug in the "sopwify" function, as I mention in our wiki. with further details here.

      I do wish this would get fixed, if only because the migration of CatQA to a "normal" section is taking so long. (and I blame only myself for that...)

      What is the sound of Windows? Is it not the sound of a wall upon which people have smashed their heads... all the way through?
