I tried this and it worked: `package Testing; $in_package = 'In package'; package main; use Data::Dumper; $package = 'Testing'; print Dumper(${$package . '::in_package'});` [download] Output: `$VAR1 = 'In package';` [download] Of course it will not run under the strictures.
