Thanks! I downloaded a zip file from the ActivePerl website, extracted it, then moved the 'perl' folder to the C drive directory.

    You need to add the c:\perl\bin directory to you path.

        If you don't understand what that is, I strongly suggest that you delete the perl you've installed (using the command rd /q /s c:\perl); then download and install the ActiveState .MSI installer which will set up the path (and many other configuration items) for you in a consistent and working fashion.

        You can obtain the .MSI installer from here.

    So you did not use Installer.bat? Installer.bat will update the registry to add to %PATH%
