let's stop this RFC 1122 stuff - it has nothing to do with what the Original Poster (OP) wants to do. We can argue these spec terminology details til the cows come home later, but that was not the question.

My question to the OP is: tell me what you expect to send to this server and what do you expect for it to send back? I am sure that the Monks can help the OP write code to do that.

Somehow we've gotten onto a hyper technical terminology thing that has no practical significance for the OP whatsoever.
