Then what was the point of posting the links if you know they don't work?
And why should I need a script to download a file when I have a whole gamut of tools that can do it for me? And why would it succeed where the tools don't?

If I have to register, it is not 'free'.
And even if I could find my way through their defences to actually download it, I still wouldn't feel able to use it for anything important.
I'd be way too nervous that if something I wrote using it suddenly became successful, that it might either disappear or get hamstrung, or they would come after me for payment.
Why? Cos that the way they've always been. In 1990-something during a stand-up, coffee break discussion at a conference, a couple of guys put a hypothetical scenario to LE, and he threatened to sue them right there and then just for thinking it.
I mean. Java's free right?
