in reply to Replacement for Google Code Search?

I use Google's filetype option because there's a surprising amount of Perl code not on CPAN: (filetype:pl OR filetype:pm) + ...

Too bad DDG doesn't support this, even though they claim they do.

Hi! Please also check out koders.com. We are developing an upgrade for it that will pull the project list from ohloh.net and will use a later version of the Code Sight search engine. Let me know your thoughts! (product manager of koders.com and Code Sight) update on 7/25/12: We just released Ohloh Code at http://code.ohloh.net... the new Koders and the alternative for the ole Google Code Search. You can search code of the self-service list of projects on http://ohloh.net. Check it out! Feedback encouraged :) best regards, Susie
