Not really.

You probably mean the €uro, but it's just cheaper to bail them out and force them into reforms. ( I'm sceptical though)

It's somehow like Puerto Rico + US now, with the difference that Greeks have equal rights and that Brussels actually sends money.

    Don't look at me over Puerto Rico. I may be wrong but I am consistent. :P I have always said they should either get statehood or the territory be released its own country. I still think so but unfortunately, at this late date, there may be no good choice. Either one would fix little and come with a new set of problems for them.

      Probably "bribed" into reforms is more adequate?

      They've been offered to drop out of the Euro, and they've been clever enough not to slaughter the (angry) milk cow.

      Concerning Puerto Rico:

      I read they want statehood, but the GOP prefers a colony over a certainly blue member state.

      Big scale gerrymandering...
