Is there any way to ensure that a persons name is displayed with the correct case i.e. John Doe and not John doe or john doe for instance??? A similar web programing language that also begins with the letter 'P' has a function call ucwords() is there a Perl equivalent?

I've discovered the joy of uc and ucfirst but have not found an answer to this poser yet :(
