karavay has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Has anyone came across a pre compiled (ppd) version, of this module, for win32(i couldn’t find one) or the only way of using it under win, is compiling the original package within cygwin environment (or by means of other win32 c compiler) Thanks,

syphilis - i've tried that, it doesnt work (error : Can't find any package that provide Search-QueryParser for Search-Indexer) dono maybe I am doing something wrong... :)
karavay - Search-QueryParser is also available from the same repository. I guess you could 'ppm install' it before trying to install Search-Indexer - but it would be better if you simply added the trouchelle repository to the list of repositories that ppm will search. Once you do that, it will be able to find Search-QueryParser (and any other pre-requisites) all by itself.

You might need to refer to the ppm documentation to find out how to add the trouchelle rep to the list ... I think the following should do the trick:
        ppm repo add http://trouchelle.com/ppm trouchelle
        Cheers,
        Rob
Perhaps you could try to display some initiative?

          ppm install http://trouchelle.com/ppm/Search-QueryParser.ppd
