karavay - Search-QueryParser is also available from the same repository. I guess you could 'ppm install' it before trying to install Search-Indexer - but it would be better if you simply added the trouchelle repository to the list of repositories that ppm will search. Once you do that, it will be able to find Search-QueryParser (and any other pre-requisites) all by itself.

You might need to refer to the ppm documentation to find out how to add the trouchelle rep to the list ... I think the following should do the trick:
    ppm repo add http://trouchelle.com/ppm trouchelle
    Cheers,

thanks Rob && David the problem is solved and David I'm a newbie to perl and it takes time to get used to this language and all of the package management applications that come with it. Thanks again,

Perhaps you could try to display some initiative?

      ppm install http://trouchelle.com/ppm/Search-QueryParser.ppd
