Finally, have you read the doc for Win32::OLE carefully? I don't know, offhand, that there's an example of how to solve your problem or something similar in that doc if, indeed, Win32::OLE natively supports what you're seeking. IIRC, M$ uses the term "adjust" for such a (single) operation.
