Let's take a step back. OP asks for help to create something clearly for production use. A tool which states "Use for production purposes is strongly discouraged." is recommended by the author. I query if the documentation needs updating given that this is the case. How is questioning this "inaccurate"? At what point did I mention anything in OPs link?

This is a literal cut/paste from the documentation, in what way am I not quoting accurately?

I didn't see your link to a previous conversation. However, the fact remains that the comments about perlcc in the OP's URL are absolutely untrue regarding its buggy and unmaintained state.	[reply]

These statements may have been true at the time of writing, obviously things can move on. As I'm sure you're aware a great deal of content online is no longer accurate. If this is the case and it is recommended for production use shouldn't the section of the documentation I quote be updated to reflect reality?	[reply]
