I wasn't thinking song and dance,
but there has been prior discussion
of (saving bandwidth) and having the polls
have non-uniform display behavior.
In addition, it seems limiting votes
by username would be much more effective
and sensible (and shouldn't require
much modification if they are currently
limited by IP). Stash username instead of
IP, and then the poll nodelet could use
this data to determine how to display itself.
No new tables that I can see, maybe one
new field in user settings to determine how
nodelet displays once you vote.

oh, ok, then what about am? I guess it isn't a big stretch after all, but who will write the update? Any takers? I just think there is more pressing "features" to be added (and bugs to be fixed .. don't ask me which)

It's something I'd be willing to try and work on,
but I am awaiting level 8'ness. I ought to download
everything at some point though.
As for AM, the field could hold either or,
and I dunno either with some flag,
or would it be such a stretch to not
allow users to have IP addresses as names -)
