Yeah, that's pretty much the case - I'm taking over help-desk support from another couple of guys in a different location. They gave up on the "install disk" idea a few years back, mostly because of distribution issues.

Having watched them in action for the last month or so, and having taken many support calls, I've realized much of their residential user base are little old ladies or men (it's a small regional ISP). They just want to be able to email their grandkids, but most can't figure out what "double-click" means.

So, I'm looking at ways to make this easy for everyone involved (less support headaches and the users don't get as frustrated with the "click here then here" routine)...
