Actualy, there is a good reason for that. The contents of the nodelet is somwhat expensive to generate, so it's cached, and the caching takes place across all users -- thus, it can't be different depending on what user is looking at it.

Sure, the name is a bit inaccurate, but who really cares.

    We could just re-title the nodelet to "Logged-in Users" or some such. Presto, problem fixed!

    If you can't change the code, change the requirements. ;-)
