Interesting idea, ++ for the suggestion. Someone suggested carrying over half of the votes, so may I complicate things by saying either half of the votes to a maximum of a quarter of your daily allotment, or just plain one quarter of the votes?
Letting the votes pile up deflates their value, so having them carryover for just one day is, I think, the way to go.
However, donating excess votes to someone else on PM isn't useful behaviour, IMHO. I suspect it would lead to an increase in 'gaming' the system, and leans the system away from a meritocracy.
