You have not given us much more useful information since you last posted about this problem, which was only a few hours ago. You keep mentioning sybperl, yet your problem relates to DBD::Sybase. After running the MakeFile.pl do you a proceed to make, make test and make install? Do you understand how to install Perl modules?

Perhaps you should read Installing Modules from the tutorials section of this site, along with How do I post a question effectively? and the PerlMonks FAQ.

    Thanks

From running perl makefile.pl: I did have a bunch of messages about missing libriaries like:
Note (probably harmless): No library found for oldnames.lib

Which makefile.pl? And what happened after that? I mean a bunch of "probably harmless" messages isn't all that informative.

    any help?

Yes, read How (Not) To Ask A Question and How do I post a question effectively?.

Also it's considered bad style to ask your question multiple times without referring to the previous posts. If you provide more information, just do it in an existing thread.

    Can't locate DBD/Sybase.pm in @INC

I'd start with investigating why Sybase.pm isn't found... (put differently - as this .pm file would pull in the associated .dll - you haven't even gotten as far that any missing .lib files could matter).  Check where the installation procedure has put Sybase.pm and/or why this path isn't included in @INC.  In case you did install the module, that is.   (Do you maybe have several installations of Perl on the same machine?)
