32-bit. I went into command prompt on the server in question and typed in : `C:\.....>ppm install http://theoryx5.uwinnipeg.ca/ppms/Crypt-DES_EDE3. +ppd` [download] After I executed that line I got the 404 error. This was one of many ways of trying it but going by the example on that page you mentioned I thought to be the most reliable.	[reply] [d/l]

Have you tried simply: `C:\> ppm install Crypt::DES_EDE3` [download] and letting PPM find it for you in its configured repositories. This should resovle any dependencies - like Crypt::DES which is required for your package (is it already installed on the machine in question, or could that be a possible failure reason)? I'm looking at http://cpan.uwinnipeg.ca/PPMPackages/10xx/Crypt-DES_EDE3.ppd in firefox, it shows a CODEBASE of http://cpan.uwinnipeg.ca/PPMPackages/10xx/x86/Crypt-DES_EDE3.tar.gz. If you can access this package you should be able to use the method detailed in A guide to installing modules for Win32 to extract and copy the files to the correct locations. N.B. the link I provided above is for Perl 5.10. Alternativly you could use the cpan command to install it for you, if you have Strawberry Perl or a modern ActiveState build.	[reply]
