- Go to the "Super Search" page.
- Click the checkbox to only search in the Tutorial section.
- Select "Don't include replies".
- Hit the "Search" button (note: you haven't put any text to search for in any of the text fields).

That's what I said. Not that there's much if any difference between sorting by creation date and sorting by modification date.

Agreed, but publication of a new
tutorial is a very "rare event".
A lazy mechanism that updates a list of recent tuts
whenever a new tutorial is published
could solve both problems - the OPs request
(user-friendly embedded in Tutorials)
and keeping the DB load small.
