in thread Is there a way to get a list of the most recently-updated tutorials here?

Thanks. Though, I'm not sure I understand. Do you mean that one should do the following:

  1. Go to the "Super Search" page.
  2. Click the checkbox to only search in the Tutorial section.
  3. Select "Don't include replies".
  4. Hit the "Search" button (note: you haven't put any text to search for in any of the text fields).

?

If so, that would show results sorted by creation date (rather than last-modified date), correct?

Replies are listed 'Best First'.

Do you mean that one should do the following:

Yes, although the following will do the first three for you.

If so, that would show results sorted by creation date

That's what I said. Not that there's much if any difference between sorting by creation date and sorting by modification date.

Are you saying you think the OP is trying to keep an eye out for vandalism? I didn't infer that. It seems to me he just want to keep an eye out for new material.

In the same vein as this quote from Tutorials,

Since ideally the Tutorials section has a high value-to-noise ratio, tutorial documents should be in as finished a state as possible before being posted to that section. (Not that it's the end of the world if they aren't.)

my reply took into consideration that it's not the end of the world if the OP misses an update. If someone buries an update, the author can hardly complain if noone see it.
