when i ran root@web /#cpan Image::OCR::Tesseract the following error message came and it is saying cannot create MakeFile.pl...

You need to start reading the installation notes for modules, I don't keep telling you to do this for my benefit, I learned that lesson the first time I had to install a module. do: `cpan> clean Image::OCR::Tesseract cpan> install Image::OCR::Tesseract` [download] I think you may see the error message: `CPAN.pm: Going to build L/LE/LEOCHARRE/Image-OCR-Tesseract-1.24.tar.g +z Cannot find tesseract executable. You need to install tesseract, since you're on fedora use yum, or have your system admin do it for you.	[reply]
