The main machine for my personal use is a 2 x 750 MHz Ev67 Alpha with 4Gb of RAM and far too many disks. It is 17 km away from me in a locked basement. Ohh... you mean the one on my desktop? It's grey and hums - theres a "Perl inside" sticker on it, it's an X-server and (unfortunately) outlook mail-machine, I don't even hear MP3's on it so I don't have the faintest clue about the soundcard, videocard or whatever - it's so much nicer to have a real machine to work on.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
