Read the docs for qin perlop. Learn how to build a q operator statement with different delimiters.
$_=q uit it u;
print; # prints 'it it '
Enjoy!

Hi!
THanks a lot, you've put me on the right page! ;)
But I can't figure out how the tr{}{} function operator works...
I have a "tr" followed by a bunch of garbage in a script but can't figure out how to translate this stuf... any exemple?
thanks again for your precious help! you're my superhero ;)

Read perlop for the tr operator. It's the same thing... these operators ( q, qq, qw, s, tr, m, qx, qr ) can all be delimited by nearly any delimiter.
