Congratulations - as the parents curse goes: May they grow up to be a burden to you:-D
However, it appears that there's sufficient in common between the 2 modules to warrant a single abstraction (or base class) utilising 2 config files (or sub-classes) ... or maybe even both as an extended learning exercise ? Just a thought from 1st impressions ...
