No preview button in reviews section

Is there a deeper reason behind the lack of a preview button in the reviews section?

I would like to check my book or module reviews before posting in the same way as other kinds of new nodes, especially since reviews usually include external references.

I concur, and will add that it would also be useful to have a preview button for updates to one’s own nodes.

In the meantime, there is an obvious workaround: Clone the PerlMonks tab; in the cloned tab, navigate to your private scratchpad; compose and submit there until happy with the result; cut-and-paste back into the original tab, and make the final submission. A little cumbersome, but workable.
