Being pedantic here, I've never seen "LUSER" capitalized, because it's really more a regular word than an acronym. In addition to SoPW, I think I've occasionally encountered CUFP (Cool Uses for Perl). And don't forget JAPH (Just Another Perl Hacker), specifically an obfu(scated) way of printing that message... Updated: Abigail-II points out that RTFM is meant to be blunt. Although RTFM sometimes is used in a nicey-nicey way, replacing Fucking with something Friendlier does diminish the impact of the acronym in its default, unqualified usage.
