Just Another JAPH

by Eimi Metamorphoumai (Deacon)
on Feb 03, 2005 at 19:19 UTC ( [id://427785]=obfuscated: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??

It's relatively simple and straightforward (compared to the usual fare here), but since it uses a technique I haven't seen anyone else use, I thought I'd post it here.
perl -le '$_=(split q,",,`$^Xdoc -q japh`)[1].".";y/pj/PJ/;print'

Replies are listed 'Best First'.

I have done something similar in One-liner japh. Using perldoc -q is a nice trick that makes it short, and didn't occurr to me.

Update: (this kind of thing is not easy to super-search to, is it?)

Update: later, three other people have also found this japh idea: see Opere Citato Japh, JAPF, and Perl FAQ.
