Not sure if this is what you are looking for. I am using Perl/Tk for a photo program. I was not satisfied with Tk. I switched to keeping the main program in Perl, but setting up a web server and connecting to Flash Player on Localhost. Works great for me anyways. Flash makes a great GUI for Perl this way IMO. Tk is ok, but I'd rather use a graphically based program to generate graphics, and Flash certainly has more capabilities than Tk in many ways.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
